It’s award-winning, state-of-the-art integrated food production system profitably produces chemical free freshwater fish and other aquatic species and organic vegetables (lettuces, Asian greens, herbs, and other greenhouse crops).
UES’ solution is a combined aquaculture/horticulture system using propriety patent-pending technology to convert the effluent produced by fish and other aquatic species into plant-available nutrients. The plants strip the nutrients from the effluent so that clean water can be returned to the fish tanks. This closed loop creates a virtually weather independent and drought-proof farm that solves aquaculture’s effluent problem, turning a waste stream into a revenue stream.
